It was another great weekend at the winter trade show in Salt Lake City. As always, it’s so nice to meet new and interesting people in this industry, have some fun dinners, coffees, and beers with the likes of Lou Dawson, Chopper, Berne Broudy, Mark Fisher, Joe Josephson along with many more, learn about new product, and line up support for 2010 adventures. With two main expeditions on the horizon, one that leaves in 6 weeks,  and the other that is a 50 day commitment this fall, there is a lot to get organized.

Along with all the meetings, we also got one great day of skiing in while doing a quick shoot with Tommy Chandler, photographer and photo editor at Backcountry.com. Check out the shot below of our team manager Jonny Atencio getting after it in the 16 inches of new snow at Alta.

The next couple of days will be spent with some athletes from our Backcountry.com team shooting around the Telluride ski area, again with the great Tommy C, along with power photog Lee Cohen. Then, it’s off to SIA Denver to host the live streaming for the show with Telluride’s own Black Byrd Media. This is a new endeavor for me and I’m looking forward to working with these guys and checking out the event.
